A "learning" piece during my first year. I chose it for the variety of different textures, and it really helped me out on what to look for and what to do to make things look real.



Another commission, using a setting from Yosetime National Park. The instuctions were simple - a couple guys having breakfast with some indians riding up. Fellow artists Jim Trigg & Robert Blair modeled.


This was a surprize gift, so the client had to send an assortment of photos from which I pieced together the painting. I did have a friend do some modeling(shoeing) for me, then I adapted her and the horses to look like his daughter with her favorite pets.
