"Ole Foghorn"

Just as we had a 5 point bull within shooting range, this "thing" sounded off right next to us, & scared it away. It sounded terrible - something like and old foghorn. I was about to go & tell that "poor" hunter what he had done, when he came out from behind the trees. He turned out to be the biggest Bull on the mountain.

A Commissioned piece, done from a picture the client provided. This was done in 1985 - my first full year of painting.

"Spring Sunrise"

I'm one of those "Bird Watchers", & one of my favorites are Gambel's Quail. Here's a cozy little covey getting out in the early morning sun.
Another "Top 100" - Arts in the Parks winner.
