Sometimes a painting is all but made for you (if you can only see it). I took this photograph about 15 years ago, and never saw anything to it until 1998. I was looking for scrap material of Aspen trees for the painting "Double Trouble". All the time I was working on it, I keep thinking about doing this one. By the time I got to it, "Wall Hanger" went together as easy as any painting I've done.

I used this photo for all my colors, values, lighting, etc. This is about half way between our trailhead and Main Camp. Greg Kolberg is the packer here, as well as in "Tough Choice". _____________________________ |
